CII Professional Qualifications - 2001

Fellowship of the CII

FCII, the highest CII qualification, entitles you to become a Chartered Insurer or a Chartered Insurance Practitioner. The award is based on further professional development including a major achievement such as a dissertation.

Associateship of the CII

ACII is widely regarded as the industry standard for professionals, and involves examination in 10 subjects. It is a demanding attainment of degree level and will take about three years to complete

Certificate of Insurance Practice

CIP confirms that candidates have achieved a high standard of technical knowledge and entitles them to become members of the Society of Technicians in Insurance, and use MSTI letters after their name

Insurance Foundation Certificate

Insurance Foundation Certificate will equip with basic knowledge of general insurance practices and procedures to enable you to operate competently in a technical or clerical capacity in the office of an insurer, intermediary, adjuster or corporate insured.

Financial Planning Certificate

The Financial Planning Certificate gives a good broad-based grounding in the financial services market, covering regulatory aspects, products, fact-finds and giving advice.

The Mortgage Advice Qualification

The Mortgage Advice Qualification (MAQ) covers the most suitable residential mortgage product to meet a customer's needs. It tests your understanding of the related insurance and assurance products available and the concepts of servicing and reviewing mortgage arrangements depending on customers' different circumstances.

Certificate in IT for Insurance Professionals

The certificate in IT for Insurance Professionals is the only qualification designed specifically to cover IT issues and responsibilities in the insurance industry.
