Insurance portal Bimaonline.com has made an addition to the site by launching a premium calculator for life insurance policies.
Currently, it has a calculator for computing the premiums payable for all non life insurance policies for individuals. This new feature complements the existing feature of a bima consultant and online tax planner.
Speaking on the launch of this feature B.Anand, CEO, bimaonline.com, said "With this addition, the site takes care of the entire process of purchasing an insurance policy online.
We are currently working on providing the buy-online option, which is the next step that completes the purchase of the insurance policy."
In the present version the site provides information on insurance for the individual consumers.
In the second version it will include information and consultancy services on the Internet to corporates and commercial enterprises.
Later it plans to include online transactions.
