Regulation for Insurance Agents Training Institutes

Procedure for new institutes aspiring to get accreditation to offer training to insurance agents is as follows:

(a) Apply in the Application Forms to obtain approval for Agents' Training Institution. Do not forget to furnish your telephone numbers, fax number, e-mail address, when sending your application to the Authority.

b) Study Guide Lines for Agents' Training Institutions and Syllabus for Practical Training / Pre-recruitment Test -- for Insurance Agents

c) Wait for the call of inspection team of the IRDA who would visit and inspect premises.

After inspection by the team of the IRDA, if the applicant has satisfied the requirements, the IRDA shall normally grant approval, and the certificate of approval would be sent in due course.
