Insurance Brokers Regulations, 2002

Long waiting period by the insurance industy for allowance of Brokers is likely to come to end with the recent amendment of Insurance Act 1938. With the Insurance Amendment Bill being passed in the upper house, interalia, allows the entry of brokers and brings the Insurance Consultants under the ambit of IRDA.
