United India Insurance is one of the four subsidiaries of the General Insurance Company carrying on general insurance business with its head office at chennai. Later on in 2002, with the passage of Insurance amendment Bill (2002), United India Insurance has been delinked from GIC and has been functioning as an independent company. UI spans the country with a network of 1123 offices and manpower of over 21,000 employees. The organisational structure comprises 22 regional offices, 313 divisional offices, and 789 branch offices
