www.bimaonline.com is an portal which doles out information on bimas (insurance policies) and though the site does not allow for providing online insurance policies, what it does is facilitate deals between insurance agents and users who want to either get insured or want to insure some physical assets like offices,homes etc.

The home page scores an average 1.5. the average score is because, the home page takes an eternity to download and prospective users need to be very patient to access any information on insurance.Nice touches on the home page include a login for the registered users, a search facility , and a page design which is neat and the layout uncluttered.

Aethestics on the site again scores 1.5 which is primarily due to the well-laid out pages, and absolutely no clutter.The site managers though definitely need to look at tha quality of GIFs used on the site and how better clarity could be brought insofar as they are concerned.

Usability on the site is on the higher side and the site scores 2 out of maximum possible 2.5. This is because the site has not tried to overdo any of the features of site architecture. Well thought out features like providing a login for registered users upfront, a search facility and scroll boxes help enhance user satisfaction and experience.

Content scores a full 2.5 on the site owing to the fact that it is elaborate,exhaustive,easy to unserstand, and written very well with the common man in mind. Anything that the user might want to know about insurance policies is provided for on the site.
