Insurance portal bimaonline.com today announced the launch of a tax calculator to facilitate instant computation of income tax. "The highlight of the new product is that it does not require any knowledge of Income Tax Act to use it and plan the tax saving," the company said.

The calculator also allows the user to choose between various tax saving schemes. It features income from salary, house property and capital gains and other income and takes into account eligible deductions and rebates under the I-T Act.
